Another look

I have been looking at the face of deities of Hindus over decades since my childhood days. I wasn't critical then but now a new angle of relooking baffles me. Why they are clean shaven, a bit feminine and with golden crowns and ornaments. Of course Brahma the creator, Vishwakarma the engineer and the rishis sport long beards. No one is bald. The goddesses on average look as if of the age 35.

Right path

Any path chosen by an individual is the right path for him. Following that right path is the journey of life. An intellectual is always critical about that. For that matter he is critical of everything,of what he does or doesn't.

Freedom

I do what I feel to do. I don't bother what others expect me to do or predict my actions well in advance. I may listen to them , I may not listen if I feel so . All encroachments to my freedom are not tolerated by me and I act against all such aberrations. Of course my time is adversely affected by such activities of others. Sartre rightly said the 'other' is hell.

Reading and Rejecting

Reading and Rejecting go together. Whether it is a religious scripture or otherwise, there are many interpretations, commentaries and translations and the reader often is derailed from the spirit of the text. Either one should read the original text in the initial language it is written to get the real feel of it and reject others, because such stuff go on piling, sometimes bloating the ego of the reader. Reject as much as you can.

Clock

There are two clocks, facing each other at a distance  hanging on the wall of my living room for convenience of checking time. It is moving incessantly. Interestingly there is a clock within me, but it's rotation per minute(rpm) is different, rather slower, than the external wall clock. Both can't be synchronised. When I am asleep or in pensive/meditative condition, my internal time moves and moves not as per the virtual situation I am in. I know a day will come when both the perception and the feel of it will stop. There may not be either any space-time continuum or space or time.It may be a absolute absence.

Grave

When a writer or an individual for his work becomes an institution, a great prize ia awarded to him, a monument is made in his name. It becomes his own grave dug by himself and he never exercised his freedom of choice, nothing more is expected from him because he is tied to a long list of characters who were deserving, non-deserving often with a chequered past. To live and create till last breath is a much better option.

Seekers syndrome

I am no researcher. I have not keen to draw immediate inference from seeking. There is no last word. Everything changes so fast, by the time I feel the bliss of discovery it is gone to nothingness. I may be suffering from seeker's syndrome. A miserable condition of existence.
